# Getting Started with Loop Network

### Metamask <a href="#metamask" id="metamask"></a>

Most of the activity on the Loop Network happens on various dapps (decentralized apps). To interact with them, you can use a browser extension that will connect your wallet with the dapp. Metamask is one such popular wallet extension.

By default, Metamask connects to Ethereum. To connect to Loop Network, you need to add Loop Network as a custom network.

In Metamask you can create a new account and send funds to it from your main Loop Network wallet, or import the existing Ethereum Wallet account. You can import the account either by using the secret passphrase . If you use the Ledger hardware wallet, you can use it in Metamask too. It will connect to your wallet and have the same balances/addresses as if you accessed your wallet on the wallet website.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://loopnetwork.gitbook.io/home/basic-knowledge/getting-started-with-loop-network.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
